About

Hi, I'm Hanzhi Shi, a game engine developer. At I.Meisters (Tokyo) I worked on Liberty Engine — PlatinumGames' in-house engine — doing graphics development and performance optimization for AAA titles including Ninja Gaiden 4: from ocean rendering to occlusion culling, helping the game hold a steady 120fps even on Xbox Series S.

M.Eng. in Information Production Systems from Waseda University; B.Eng. in Software Engineering from UESTC. These days I also build as an indie maker in the AI era — a podcast digest service, a desktop companion pet, and a pixel-art roguelite. This site collects my selected work across engine graphics, games and AI products.
